About the Company
LifeCourse Wellness, based in Danville, Virginia, provides dynamic, content-rich educational seminars and workshops focused on mind & body wellness, pain and stress management, T'ai Chi Fundamentals, energy psychology and medicine, and Reiki Therapy. Programs are geared for a wide-range of audiences, and are designed not only to inform, but also to empower participants to achieve and maintain vitality and health throughout their lives. Group and private instruction in T'ai Chi Fundamentals, and courses in Reiki (all levels), is also available. In addition to serving Virginia and North Carolina, programs are also offered at various times throughout the year in Marco Island and Naples, Florida.
The company was established by Dr. David I. Rosenberg, Professor of Psychology and Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Rosenberg completed his graduate studies in Counseling Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1993, and he has been a member of the faculty at Averett University for the past fourteen years. He has also maintained a clinical practice for over ten years, and his areas of specialization include assessment, wellness, and stress management. In addition, Dr. Rosenberg serves as the Director of the Formula 5 Chronic Pain Management Program in Danville.
Dr. Rosenberg completed Level 4 Certification in T’ai Chi Fundamentals under Tricia Yu of the T’ai Chi Center in Madison, WI, and he also studies and practices Qigong and Yang style T'ai Chi. Dr. Rosenberg is a certified Reiki (Japanese Relaxation Therapy) Master Instructor, and he is currently involved in the study of energy psychology and energy medicine, having trained with Donna Eden and David Feinstein. Dr. Rosenberg is a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP), The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP), and The International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM).
